Discover Osaka: Experience the Future of Cardiovascular-Metabolic and Aging Research

We are delighted to invite you to the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Society for Heart and Vascular Metabolism (SHVM 2026), to be held in Osaka, Japan, from Monday, October 26th to Thursday, October 29th, 2026, at the Osaka International Convention Center (12F Special Conference Hall).

In keeping with the long-standing tradition of SHVM meetings, SHVM 2026 Osaka will bring together investigators from around the world to create a vibrant forum for the open exchange of ideas. The meeting will promote close scientific interactions between early-career researchers and established leaders, fostering an inclusive and collegial atmosphere that inspires new collaborations across disciplines.

Scientific Theme: “Aging as a Gateway to Cardiovascular-Metabolic Research”

Aging is increasingly recognized not merely as a background process, but as a central biological driver integrating cardiovascular, metabolic, and systemic pathophysiology.

SHVM 2026 Osaka will explore how aging-related mechanisms shape cardiovascular-metabolic diseases and open new therapeutic opportunities. The scientific program will span basic discovery, translational research, and clinical investigation, featuring sessions on emerging mechanisms, novel biomarkers, and innovative therapeutic strategies. Distinguished international faculty and rising investigators will share cutting-edge insights into fundamental biology, as well as future directions for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular-metabolic diseases.
